Our items for the kitchen are exclusively designed for form and funtional use. Great care and thought are taken into consideration when engineering these pieces. They not only have to be great works of Art, they have to be safe to use for what they were specifically intended.

Each piece/pieces we create are handled approximately 12 times from completion to end. All our functional stoneware items are dishwasher, oven, and microwave safe. They are extremely durable and will last virutally thousands of years if not dropped or misused. Earthenware items such as faience, majolica are more delicate wares. They are foodsafe for table use as well as utility items. However they are not microwavable, or oven proof. It is suggested to handwash these items.

We have a vast array of glazes, clay bodies, etc...as well as the skills necessary to use these techniques. So if you want something totally customized it can be done to your specifications.
